What is a Sacred Birth Sister? A Sacred Birth Sister helps families on their journey to togetherness. Many families find themselves in a rut and sometimes outside help is needed. Spiritually, “Birth” is not just about bringing forth a child. When you have an idea, start a new business, or get married, you are birthing something new. Sacred Birth Sister sees it as a privilege to honor families by helping them to transition into a new family when the baby is brought home, when mom needs help in the home outside of “postpartum” period, or the family just needs a little help organizing around the house.

What services are provided as a Sacred Birth Sister?

• Postpartum care

• Breastfeeding support

• Physical and emotional recovery support

• Light housekeeping

• Light meal preparation

• Baby soothing techniques

• Assistance with newborn care such as: diapering, elimination communication, bathing, feeding, and comforting tips

• In-home childcare

• Referrals to local resources when requested

• Organization help

As a Sacred Birth Sister, care is provided to the whole spirit of the family. Postpartum care is valuable because it is an important healing and bonding time for the family. Getting outside assistance in organizing around the house because life has become to hard to do it alone, can be a benefit for the whole family. Virtual Childbirth Education Classes

Getting ready for the arrival of your bundle of joy? Childbirth classes can be fundamental in your understanding of what to expect, while giving you tools to help you during the journey of labor. Benefits of childbirth classes:

I provide private childbirth classes online for mothers and their partners, but occasionally offer classes to friends or groups who would love to do this together.
